Bake Sale Fundraiser

My name is Alex and I am a sixth grade student.  I am planning to participate in an amazing educational program in Florida this Spring with my friends and classmates from Davis Middle School! We’ll spend a total of 4 days together in Florida learning really cool things about science. Here are some of the awesome activities that are planned for us on our trip:
·        Kennedy Space Center: take the Kennedy Space Center tram tour, go on the flight simulator, enjoy the visitor center, watch an IMAX film, and have lunch with an astronaut.   Ask questions and learn first-hand about the astronaut’s experience and background.
·        Fort DeSoto State Park: Examine the effects of introducing exotic plants and animals to an ecosystem.  Participate in a shark dissection, kayak around mangroves, snorkel alongside the beach, and use seine nets in grass beds to collect and identify small marine species.
·        Sea World – Ocean Conservation: Explore the issues surrounding the protection and preservation of endangered coral reef habitats in this exclusive WorldStrides program.  Feed and touch real sharks as you learn about the fascinating creatures that call the coral reefs their home.
·        WonderWorks:  View over 100 interactive science exhibits that explore the answers to the unexplained.

In order to take part in this totally unique adventure, I need to raise enough money to cover my trip expenses
.  All proceeds of the bake sale will go towards my Science in Motion Class Trip fund.

Stay tuned for scheduled bake sales.  If you would like to order cake pops, click here to view and print the cake pop order form.

Thank you for your support!

Sincerely,
Alex Strong
